Film, Gadgets, and Geekdom

I am in my second day alone.  Everyone else is off to Lillies.  I didn’t go because really, I don’t think John really wanted me there.  I get the same feeling about VisionCon.  Why you ask?  Well, mostly because John will allow me to follow him around and then he will go off to a party and get totally wasted and I won’t be invited to come.  You would think that I would just follow him, but he finds ways to sneak off.  I just figured that the same thing would happen at Lillies and I didn’t want to be stuck hanging around a bunch of naked fat guys who wish they were in the Middle Ages.  Granted, I do WWII reenacting, but that’s different, that’s not a haven for nake fat guys.  WWII reenacting is a haven for old guys who either never entered the military or were in the military and are too old to fight in a war.  Oh, yeah, and there’s a few racist old guys who wish they were in the military.  I steer away from them.  I figured I wouldn’t have fun at Lillies and nobody would care if I was there or not.  John and Holly complained to Lexy and I about how they usually just sit around alone with nobody to hang out with.  However, over the next few weeks, they kept telling us about all these friends they were going to hang out with there.  Huh?  Do they hang out with people or not?  Oh well, too late for me to continue bitching about this as I am alone today and tomorrow.  Then I have to go to this BBQ this weekend for Lexy’s family.  I, however, don’t really want to go since I have to work next weekend Saturday and Sunday.  Then, after the shoot on Sunday morning, I have to go to the studio and do some editing work.  That Sunday’s going to be a long day.  Well, wish me luck as I attempt to avoid boredom.
