Well, England was knocked out of the Quarters by Portugal.  That makes me very, very sad.  However, on a couple good notes, France beat Brazil 1 - 0.  What a fucking upset, eh?  Yeah, you don’t care.  Germany won against Argentina, so France and Germany are headed to the Semis.  Beckham has stepped down as England’s captain.  Wayne Rooney got a red card in the England/Portugal match for stomping on Portugal’s Ricardo Carvalho’s ballsack.  It was the greatest moment of the 2006 World Cup I have yet to see.  There you go, the Semifinal match-up is Germany vs. Italy, France vs. Portugal.  One team will go home with nothing.
