I realized I haven’t really updated this in a while, so here you go. Let’s see. I was in Jeff City over the last weekend. I had to help out on a Tying Bench shoot on Sunday. I rode up to JC with John on Friday, so he had to take to me to the shoot at around 8:15am. Then we had to wait around for 15 minutes before anyone else showed up. John and Holly were gonna stick around because Shaun was supposed to be there (at least I thought) and John is a really good friend of Shaun’s. Well he wasn’t there, so John and Holly left. The shoot was relatively boring as I don’t really connect well with anyone there. Then as we were packing up, John and Holly came back to pick me up. Damn fine timing if you ask me. The rest of that day, we just hung around. John and Holly napped a little. Well, Holly took a nap, John dozed off occasionally when we were watching some TV. We headed home around 7pm that night, I got Holly and John some gas in Sedalia (as well as myself a soda, eating only jerky for a day makes you thirsty) for driving me around all weekend. Since then, I haven’t really been doing much over this week. We did get a new digital thermostat for the apartment and I already notice how much more efficient it is. It actually turns off when the apartment reaches the desired temperature. The apartment manager actually got some of our broken stuff fixed after a long while. The bedroom bathroom now has a toilet handle that is not jury-rigged (yeah, that was me) and our sink has an actual sprayer that works. So, yeah, like I said, not a whole lot going on. John and I have been working on some things for some games he’s designing and I’m typing up the army book for the side I play in his WWII table top game. It’s long and tedious, but worth it and I’m done with the super long vehicle section, so another day or two of work and I’ll be done. I also wrote a program that will make certain conversions for a aircraft-based game John has a lot easier.
Oh, on an unrelated note. I do a lot of websurfing while I write up these long entries, which is why I take so long writing them. Anyway, open up Google Earth and go to coordinates:
53°21′51.77″N
1°20′2.97″W
You might be amused by what you find there. I know I was. Ok, I’m out on that note.
