I was browsing MySpace for a little bit and I realized something I’ve been saying for a while now: MySpace webspaces are terribly designed. I got an friend invite (that I declined) from some DJ in Boston, Mass and he had that annoying auto-play song thing going AND a fucking auto-play video. It just really pissed me off. I already get annoyed when someone’s MySpace page starts spitting music out at me. I mean, it’s one of the basic no-nos in web design. Nobody likes music to just start blaring in their ears right off the bat. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if you could decide if you wanted to listen to it or not. A lot of people listen to music while they browse the net and having to compete with website-based music just makes it annoying. Ah well, another reason I prefer LJ.
