Cool

So, I have seen X-Men: The Last Stand and I have to say that I’m generally impressed with it.  Just in case you are wondering, I did see it legally at a midnight show in KC.  I won’t say a lot about the film since I’m sure a lot of you want to see it.  I will say that there are parts of the movie I loved and parts I was disappointed with.  That is all for now.

Holy fantabulous, Batman!

Tell the world about this sadistic bitch!!!

I honestly have no idea if this person is real or not, but sadly, I have a serious concern she is.  If you consider yourself a reasonable human being, browse around this site for a while.

If you don’t get sick reading some of the entries or at least don’t hate her… I don’t want you to come back to my site ever again.  I cannot believe that so many people in this country are actually fascist and don’t know it.  ::Sigh::  I suppose we have to actually have a sort of respect for these types of people.  I mean, actually attacking them makes them stronger.  It’s the Ultra-Conservatives that actually make me sick to my stomach.  These type of people think it was a great idea to use the atomic bomb on Japanese civilians.  I’ve seen a lot of footage of the results of those bombs and they make me sick.  I’m not easily sickened, but the idea that a certain majority of citizens of this ‘great’ country get their jollies from shit like that.  It just infuriates me to the point of physical sickness.  I will concede one thing about the atomic bombings of Japan, it saved lives on both sides (an amphibious invasion of Japan has never succeeded), but using a civilian target is unacceptable.  Anytime I see the horrid conditions many Chinese have to live in or read about what the Japanese had to do to keep Japan fighting World War II, it really hits me hard.  I don’t really know why, but I have an incredible amount of empathy for the Japanese and Chinese cultures.  Maybe it’s because I’m so awed by how much longer they’ve had an actual technological civilization than Europe.  Though oddly enough, it’s only China and Japan.  Either way, I’ve gotten off track.  My whole point is this: I hate Conservative Americans and their racist, fascist bullshit.

Awwww… and it gives you some perspective.

I have to give it to Nintendo.

I was reading a “What We Know” article about the Wii and I decided from there to watch some Metroid Prime 3: Corruption footage from E3.  Of course we knew that the new revolutionary controller is motion-based, but I didn’t know that the attachments were ALSO going to have gyroscopes in it.  So, for example, the ‘grapple beam’ in MP3:C is actually used by flicking the analog stick attachment.  It just blows my mind.  Another thing that amused me is that Nintendo’s release price for EVERY console thus far has been $199.  The NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube… all $199 at US release.  Kinda gives us a clue about the Wii’s release price eh?  I also appreciate that Nintendo pulled out of the hardware race.  The Wii won’t be as HD-based as the X360 or the PS3.  I have to take a moment to give a internet middle finger to Sony for releasing two models of PS3.  $600 for a 60GB model and $500 for a 20GB that doesn’t have Wi-Fi included?  Gee, which one do they want you to buy?  Taking on a hundred bucks off for 40GB less and a lack of Wi-Fi?  HA!  The Wii will have Wi-Fi included.  I know Lexy’s slightly disgruntled about the fact that Nintendo’s releasing a copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for both the Gamecube and the Wii, but it’s really necessary.  Though, I suppose it makes sense since a lot people won’t get a Wii straight away and will want to play the new Zelda game.  Personally, I’m super-pumped about trying Red Steel and all the old-school games in addition to the new Zelda game.  All those kids out there bugging their parents to get the a PS3 that will be literally three times as expensive or those fuck-tards saving up all that money for a PS3 they’ll have to wait six months to get… I laugh at them.  Yeah, I know, I got an X360, but I’m a huge Xbox fan, so there.  Of course I’m getting a Wii on release.  I’m a product of the 80s.  Yeah, I’m all technology oriented, but I do love the retro nostalgia.  Which is why I’m super pumped that Nintendo just revealed (at E3) the Wii will provide downloadable NES, SNES, and N64 games.  Oh, I also forgot to include Sega Genesis and Turbo Grafx to that list.  Yeah, that’s right.  To accommodate to the old systems, it also looks like they will be providing a ‘classic’ controller add-on.  It’s in the Wii article I was reading, check it.  Granted, the Wii has only 512MB Flash Memory internal, but really, do you need GBs of storage if your game console isn’t intended to be a Media Centre who’s secondary function is to play games?  Yeah, that was a burn on MS and Sony.  If you get to the point where you fill up that 512MB with your fucking ridiculous number of games, you can always pop in 2 SD Memory sticks.  Advantage to that is SD cards are compatible with more than just the Wii.  I think you can also hook up USB Jump drives to it for storage as well.  That will make taking your saved games to friend’s houses slightly more convenient.  There are a lot of things I’m super excited about with the Wii, the controller most of all.  I love being in a time with such innovation.  I will admit, however, I am slightly scared of getting a brand new technology right out of the gate.  But I trust Nintendo not to deliver a product that would fail.  The Wii may live up to my expectations, it might not, either way, we’re getting one.

Well, since I typed this far, I may as well just keep going with other news.  It is my birthday (yay) and I had a party over the weekend.  Adam, Sarah (Adam’s gf), Lacey, and Steve came up and we all hung out.  We went to the Berliner Bear in KC and had some awesome German food.  It was delicious.  Then we hung out some more.  Sunday, they went to go for Mexican food, but I didn’t go because a) there’s no good Mexican restaurant in Warrensburg and b) it gives me the slippery poops.  Gross.  Then Lexy had to go to work and I just sat around with the rest, drank a bit (Steve got trashed), and didn’t really do anything.  Today (Monday to me) Lexy, Natasha, and Kelsey went to a sex shop.  I presume Kelsey didn’t go in since she isn’t 18, but I don’t really know because I didn’t ask.  Lexy came back with a purple dildo and then since she wanted to have a casual chat about it and I’m not that kind of guy, I got frustrated because she wouldn’t get the hint.  Then because I got frustrated, she got mad at me, and went to bed mad.  So, I’ve decided I have to stay up until she either gets up to go to work or just plain gets up.  I’m sure we’ll work it out, we always do since we are, pretty much, the perfect couple. ;)  Well, since all of you pretty much know all of this already, I’m gonna call it done riiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhttttttttt…. here.

HA! Take THAT Sony.

Something super cool

There are very few things I don’t like about LJ, but I do accept those I cannot change.  Until, that is I found a couple FireFox extensions that allow me to do that I wished I couldn’t.  It’s a superficial change, but it does what I want it to do.  For you guys to see these changes, you’ll need to get the extension Greasemonkey.  Then, go and install this script.  After you install it, go to my website and see the little change I made.  It’s not much, but it’s what I wanted.  Just in case you’re curious, Greasemonkey just applies an offline change whenever you load that page.  In case you are curious, I used another FF extension called Platypus to actually perform the changes.  Yo, bye, check it.
