So I get the oddest email from the most unexpected person. This person was Lacey. She apparently wishes to reinflate our lost friendship. Now, I suppose a lot of you to expect me to either respond harshly or not respond at all. However, my response was indeed one of suspicion, I did give her the choice of a second chance. All she has to do is give me an explanation of why she could go for damn near six months without talking to me and suddenly want to talk to me. You can understand why I am so suspicious. I’m not a very trusting person as it is, so I’m not immediately accepting of someone who used to be my friend, ditching me much like Jer did, and wanting to rekindle a friendship after nearly half a year. To be honest, I’m torn between telling her to go fuck herself and giving her a… hell I don’t know how many-th chance. Any suggestions guys?
Other than that, I have nothing else of note to really talk about. It’s been a pretty slow few days. Well, that’s about all I have for today.
Well To be honest, she’s actually been talking about it for a couple of months. I know this becuase I go to school with her and am the only person there who knows you. I suppose that makes me a qualified Tony specialist? Anyway. As far as what to do about it, I probably shouldn’t put my two cents in as at the moment I’m as done with dealing with her shit as I can get because she’s turning the bitch eye on me. If her personality changing was a requirement, then you are probably wasting your time. If you think it might work out though I would definitely go for it, it is a terrible thing to lose a friend, so if working with this will keep it it might be worth doing.
There.. I think that’s non biased-er than it could have been.

I’m probably not the best person to be commenting on this since I know next to nothing about Lacey and what happened between the two of you but…
If you have given her multiple chances in the past to actually be a friend/works things out and have been fucked each time, I wouldn’t waste your time with her. As Dawn said though, losing a friend sucks and if you think you might be able to save whatever is left of the friendship you once had, go for it.

I must say that in the past, Lacey hasn’t really “fucked Tony over”. I mean, she didn’t steal from him or blow up his house or anything. It was more of a slow draining of patience. She, in my opinion, never did anything major or outright that could be considered a fuckover.
As for the second chance part, I figure what the hell? It’s not like you expect her to be your attached at the hip best friend because I don’t know that you guys ever had that kind of relationship. A rekindling of a friendship where you only see each other once in a while because we’re far away and she’s in school can’t take that much effort right? She goes off north to college soon anyway. I’d give it at least some thought. Which is what you’re doing. So cool beans.
maybe it’s kinda like when i went through my cell phone address book and found all those people that i realized i hadn’t talked to in AGES. yes, some of them in months. granted, i had news to share, so that’s why i went ahead and called them…
everyone can use another real friend. or even a casual acquaintance.
I agree with Lexy…kinda sorta…in a realistic way.
however…i find lacey immature and annoying…I’d tell her to go fuck herself. I don’t associate well with that of her species.
